About Your Publishing Guide
Hey Fellow Writer,
I'm Rich Blazevich, and I created Your Publishing Guide to help writers (yes, that includes you) enjoy the experience of writing and publishing books.
I believe everyone has the right to become a published author regardless of their education level, financial situation, or social status.
About 6 years ago, I started writing and publishing books. After decades of believing I didn't have what it takes to become a published author, a friend talked me into giving it a try.
Writing my first book was difficult, and I did nearly everything wrong. Getting it to market was even more challenging as I didn't know anything about the publishing world.
Eventually, I found someone who understood the process, and he guided me through the ambiguous, often confusing steps to get my first book to market. Since then, I've published 5 more books, and with each book, I've discovered easier and faster ways to get things done.
Now, I want to help you avoid all the struggles I faced. My online course is built to show you the fastest and smoothest way to convert your ideas into published books.

But Won’t It Take Years to Get Through the Process?
Nope. With the approach I’ll show you, you can write and publish your first book in a matter of months, not years. You’ll see how to write efficiently and avoid writer’s block. You’ll even learn a streamlined approach to editing and formatting your books. I’ll also show you how to publish your books using free platforms including Amazon's KDP, Barnes & Noble Press, Apple Books, and others so your book will be available on top bookseller sites within a few days of you uploading your manuscript.
But Won’t My Books Get Rejected by Publishers?
Absolutely not! Booksellers including Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Apple Books now allow you to bypass traditional publishers and sell your books directly on their platforms. All you have to do is write, refine, and upload your book files. I'll show you exactly how to do that in my course.
But Isn't Publishing Expensive?
Not really. I'll show you how to use writers groups, freelancers, and others to help you refine your book at a fraction of the cost you might expect. There are hundreds of "hybrid publishing" companies that don't want you to learn what my course teaches. That's because they want to charge you $2,000 or more to do what you can do yourself. Don’t fall for their offers to provide overpriced services. Instead, learn to do things yourself so you control all the decisions related to your book and save thousands of dollars in the process.
But Is Your Course Based Only on Your Experience?
All my online lessons have been designed in partnership with writers, universities, freelance service providers, and self-publishing platforms. I refined my course lessons and educational materials while I taught self-publishing classes at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Students there provided the testing ground, so the course you’ll get isn’t based on my experience alone. It’s based on suggestions and refinements from many students who have come before you.
My online videos and training materials provide simple, easy-to-follow instructions for everything you need to get your books into online bookstores across the world.
Don't let someone else take your money, and don't let them take control of your book. Enroll in my course, and learn the easy way to become a published author.
More About Me
When I was in elementary school, I loved writing. By high school, my teachers, siblings, and classmates convinced me to put aside writing and focus on more practical subjects.
After spending over 30 years in corporate jobs, I rediscovered my passion for writing. My first book focused on marketing, which was where I spent most of my career. After that, I wrote 5 books about the job search process, primarily to help people get jobs they want.
After learning how to write and self-publish books of my own, I started helping friends publish their books. Next, I began teaching self-publishing courses at Southern Methodist University.
Now, I work full-time as a writing and publishing instructor and coach. I’m also writing my seventh book, which will be about … of all things … how to write and publish books the easy way.
You can find my books on Amazon, Audible, Barnes & Noble, and other book-selling sites.
